Black Tattoos

While color tattoos might be very popular because they are so eye-catching, black tattoos have an interesting allure. Usually black ink tattoos have very intricate designs and rely more heavily on their design and pattern rather than color. Traditional tattoos are usually black and grey so many old school tattoos are black. Some of the most common examples of black tats are black tribal tattoos since they focus heavily on shapes and patterns and emulate the type of style seen in different cultures like Maori, Native Americans or Polynesians.

Black ink can make an image seem very dark and bold, like in the case of a black skull tattoo or a black cross tattoo. But black tattoo designs can range from dark and gothic to pretty and feminine like a black outline of a butterfly. Sometimes black tattoos are very intricate with gray shading and different thickness of line and sometimes they create a very simple outline.
