This Icarus tattoo is almost exactly like a Led Zeppelin album, but the arm is slightly different. We’re not sure what the purpose of the change was, but it’s still very close to the original.
This tattoo is the original artwork by American artist William Rimmer. The name of the piece is call Evening (Fall of Day). Led Zeppelin used this for the basis of their Swan Song label, changing the left arm to an outreach position.
I have this tatto that id from runners artwork in the exact spot pm the right side ofy chest I have had it for ten years. Someone must have see and copied the idea

The design is indeed the work of William Rimmer. Rimmer’s artwork is not intended to represent Icarus but rather the Greek god of light, Apollo.
